Wendy Murray committed to a daily drawing practice while she sheltered in place in Los Angeles from 17 January to 24 April 2021, living between Silver Lake, Koreatown, Highland Park and Venice during her time in L.A. Murray completed a daily drawing while in the grueling 14-day mandatory government hotel quarantine in New Zealand.

Book design by Ann Suerto. Ann is a Los Angeles based designer, specializing in typography for book design. An ArtCenter graduate, Ann was the recipient of the prestigious HMCT: Fellowship in 2020 and assisted the Typographers-in-Residence and HMCT staff in research and documentation. Ann designed the fantastic catalog based on findings and work of the Typographers-in-Residence.

Writing by David A. Greene. David A. Greene has been a contributing editor for Dwell and Frieze, a regular contributor to Artforum and the New Yorker, and (as Dave Greene) has written and produced many hours of American television. This is his first catalogue essay since producing his latest work, an American teenager.

Portrait photography by Kenneth Brown Jr. Kenneth Brown, Jr. is a visual artist from Venice, California who works with a variety of 2D media, including painting, drawing, printmaking and photography. His work explores elements and patterns of the urban landscape, in particular the visual dialog that occurs between the human environment and the natural world.
